Not a new recall

Anthony Faccenda    August 27, 2012 - 6:08PM

In reply to by Anthony Faccenda

Just realized that although the NHTSA just listed it, the recall is dated Aug 21, which is 3 days after Fisker first announced that a voluntary recall would soon begin. I guess there was just a three day lapse between Fisker announcing it and providing the information to the NHTSA. Original coverage detailed that the recall involved 2,400, which was the total manufactured, while the recall notice states 1,377 because that is the number actually in owner's hands. Too bad I realized this after typing up the whole article! Oh well
