2021 Ram 1500 Reaches Out to the Millions of Amazon Shoppers

Ram is masterful at selling to its truck audience. It does a great job through Mopar and Ram. Now the truck maker is reaching out to the huge Amazon marketplace.

Amazon has dramatically changed the way Americans shop. Nearly anything you want is available at the touch of the keyboard. Now, Ram is hoping to tap into the market that reaches millions of people online every day. Ram has opened an Amazon store, where fans can order merchandise affiliated with the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX and all other Rams.

Ram Making it Easier for Customers

Ram says it is expanding on its “Built to Serve” motto and serving customers by making it easier to buy branded, licensed merchandise. Amazon Prime members will find that shipping is free.

“Opening our dedicated Ram Truck store on Amazon provides an opportunity for our owners and followers in the U.S. to shop for their favorite gear across multiple categories and to encounter a seamless online experience,” said Marissa Hunter, Vice President, Marketing - North America, Stellantis “The Ram Truck brand featured collections give our devoted followers and Ram truck owners the chance to shop a variety of products from apparel to outdoor gear.”

Amazon is the world's largest online marketplace. Amazon Prime has over 100 million subscribers worldwide. Amazon now ranks as the most valuable retailer, in the U.S., ahead of Walmart.

Products and licensed gear available in the Ram Truck Store by Amazon for purchase include men’s and women’s apparel, drinkware, jobsite essentials and tailgate accessories for Ram Truck fans of all ages. You can find everything from t-shirts, hoodies and coats for both men and women in apparel. Plus, there is drinkware, luggage, chairs and all sorts of memorabilia listed under New Arrivals and Best Sellers. The store has tailgate gear like cornhole, a grill, grill accessories and blankets, all Ram branded.

Ram Positioning Itself for the Future

The new Ram Truck Store by Amazon also positions Ram for what may be down the road for truck sales. There are already websites trying to allow buyers to shop online and avoid dealerships. Tesla, as well, has tried to edge dealers out. Many states have rules and laws preventing dealerless transactions. Amazon is already credited with disrupting traditional retailing. If the vehicle shopping marketplace changes significantly in the future, Ram will already have an inroad with more than 100 million Amazon Prime members. For now, the Ram Store is selling swag. As fans react, the market will only grow.
