This is the 2017 Mercedes-Benz G300 CDI which is a specialized version built for just Australia. The exterior features a bull bar, skid plates, blacked-out grille, 16-inch alloy wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires, and a snorkel that allows the G300 to ford through 25 inches of water. Inside is very utilitarian with vinyl uphostery, rubber floor mats the conceal drain plugs, and a center console featuring basic buttons for various controls.

Power comes from a 3.0L turbodiesel V6 with 181 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission. Mercedes hasn't released performance figures for the G300 CDI, but most people who are interested in this vehicle aren't concered about it. What they care about is the G300 CDI boasts approach and departure angles of 38 and 35 degrees respectively, haul 4,595 pounds in the bed, and tow 4,872 pounds.

Australians will be able to pick up a G300 CDI for AUD $119,900 (about $89,282).
