Consumer Reports Most Discounted New Cars to Buy Right Now

Here’s Consumer Reports’ analyst’s most recent selections this month of 10 new car models that includes full-sized trucks which right now are now selling anywhere between 3% to 12% below their MSRP sticker values.

Earlier this year, we’ve reported on the best nationwide incentives for models recommended by Consumer Reports regarding best new SUV deals for early summer 2022.

Today, however, there is a new listing focused on MSRP sticker prices and what people paid recently that were standouts this month consisting of sedans, SUVs and trucks.

Armed with the most recent listings of what sold when and for how much, adds to your arsenal as you negotiate with a car dealer using your fact-based research; and, the knowledge that the trade-in value of your used car is an even more important bargaining chip this year than it was before the pandemic.

In this recent listing CR analysts focused on what people paid without limiting the selections to just those models that meet CR's typical stringent analysis format.

Tell you what I wouldn’t buy and that’s a truck with a large engine, a Mazda CX-5 or any new piece of crap for the matter. My old school cutless is running like a clock, it’s all metal and no plastic parts..
