An experienced co-pilot

The new female driver will pair with an experienced co-pilot. Molly will get a navigator who isn’t so new to rally racing. She will be paired with one of Australia’s most experienced co-pilots, Bill Hayes. He has previous experience with Subaru, having been Dean Herridge’s co-pilot before Subaru Rally Team Australia disbanded in November 2005.

Les Walkden Rallying in Tasmania will be managing Subaru do Motorsport and is busy with an intense build going on now. They are getting the new 2016 Subaru WRX STI ready now for the season-opening Quit Forest Rally scheduled for April 22-24 in Western Australia. Next, Taylor will need to get some serious kilometers in the car before round one next month. Hayes has an advantage and has plenty of experience on the uniquely challenging surfaces south of Busselton where they will test the new STI rally car.

Molly says, “The momentum’s building quickly and it’s been so exciting to see the positive response to Subaru’s rally return. From children on social media to motorsport fans, the vibe is just fantastic.” Molly’s new do Motorsport #44 2016 Subaru WRX STI rally car livery says do more adventures. There’s no better way than on the rally stages. Stay tuned.
