It’s Another Best-Ever For The All-New Subaru Crosstrek

How are Subaru customers reacting to the all-new Crosstrek subcompact SUV? It's hotter than the previous generation model. Last year, it was Subaru of America's number-one-selling model. Now, the next-gen subcompact SUV had its best-ever November. SOA says, "Crosstrek achieved its best November ever with sales of 14,994."

How well is the Crosstrek selling?

As Subaru of America retailers get the all-new 2024 Crosstrek, sales of the subcompact SUV are up in November, and Crosstrek is the second best seller in the lineup. Crosstrek sales were up 18.3 percent, with 14,994 models delivered to customers in November compared with 12,672 in November 2022. 

After being down the last few months, the Crosstrek is now up 1.2 percent for the year's first eleven months. Crosstrek is second in the lineup behind Outback year to date, with 143,394 models sold in 2023. Crosstrek is now just 4,116 model sales behind the Outback. 

"Enthusiasm for Subaru vehicles remains high and has helped us put another month of consecutive sales growth under our belts," said Troy Poston, Senior Vice President of Sales.

The Crosstrek Wilderness is already making an impact.

The Crosstrek is getting hot at the end of the year. The subcompact SUV achieved its best November ever because the new Crosstrek Wilderness is already making a significant impact. 

Crosstrek Wilderness arrives just in time for winter with its severe weather and all-terrain upgrades, making it a good choice for active outdoorsy customers. 

The 2024 Crosstrek Base, Premium, Sport, and Limited trim levels are significantly improved over the 2023 model year. All Crosstrek trims come standard with Subaru's Eyesight driver assist safety technology. All trim levels get the top safety scores from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).

Here is the updated pricing for customers looking for the 2024 Crosstrek this fall.

For 2024, the Crosstrek will be available in Base, Premium, Sport, Limited, and Wilderness trim levels and has a starting price of $26,290 (the same MSRP as the 2023 Base model equipped with the Lineartronic CVT automatic transmission).

The 2024 Crosstrek Premium has a starting price of $27,440, Sport ($30,290), and Limited ($32,190). Pricing includes destination and delivery fees ($1,225).

The 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness is the most expensive Crosstrek trim level. The all-new Crosstrek Wilderness costs $33,290, including dealer destination and delivery fees ($1,295).

My Take.

The Crosstrek Premium trim is the best value for subcompact SUV shoppers who will need its all-weather capability and use it for occasional off-road use. The Crosstrek Sport and Wilderness are for customers who need all-terrain capability and use it to get further off the grid. 

The remodeled 2024 Subaru Crosstrek is already selling at the top of its class and has achieved its best November ever. Can Crosstrek overtake the Outback for the best-selling Subaru model this year? There's one month to go. Stay tuned.
