The 2015 Subaru Outback reaches new heights in North America and continues to impress buyers and journalists. The all-new Subaru Outback wagon received another award and wins AJAC's (Automobile Journalists Association of Canada) Best New SUV under $35K. The new-generation Outback also has seen a record sales month in November and the best month ever for the wagon in the U.S. market.
Consumers and journalists are impressed with the new Outback and it continues to be a top conquest vehicle for the brand. Subaru is attracting new buyers to the brand and the Outback is playing a key role. 60 percent of Subaru’s sales this year have been from conquests, owners of other brands switching to Subaru. That’s higher than any other brand and it’s a big reason why Subaru is growing at a 21 percent increase this year.
Outback impresses AJAC
The all-new 2015 Outback prevailed over its competition to win the “Best New SUV under $35K” category and will continue on to compete for the overall Canadian Utility Vehicle of the Year award. The winner will be announced on press day at the Canadian International AutoShow, held in Toronto in mid-February.
Outback sets records in Canada
The new Outback wagon is not only setting records in the U.S., but it’s also a top-selling vehicle in Canada and impressing consumers. Subaru Canada says, since it was introduced into dealerships earlier this summer, the Outback has been breaking sales records across Canada. Outback has surpassed all previous monthly records for three consecutive months to ultimately help Subaru Canada set a new all-time annual sales record this year.
Subaru is riding a high
In the U.S., Subaru sold more Outbacks than any other vehicle in their lineup in November. It shows how well consumers are responding to the newly-designed wagon. The Outback is reaching never before seen new heights and will likely continue as a top seller for the brand. Year to date it’s just behind the new Forester SUV.
The brand is experiencing tremendous success and it’s due to their providing consumers with new products that fit their lifestyles. An active generation is using the multi-purpose vehicles as daily drivers and also for recreation on the weekend, and it’s a combination that’s attracting many new buyers to the brand. The all-new 2015 Subaru Outback is a big reason for their success and journalists and buyers seem to agree that the new Outback delivers an optimal blend of driving dynamics and utility that consumers want.
