If you take a light-weight powerful Lamborghini Gallardo STS and put it up against a 2015 BMW M4 it wouldn’t be much of a contest. In the video below a Lamborghini Gallardo STS with its naturally aspirated 5.2 Liter V10 pumping out 570 horsepower takes on a new 2015 BMW M4. Watch the video, the result may surprise you.

The ultra rare Lamborghini Gallardo STS was first seen at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2011 and only 150 examples have been produced globally. It weights in at just 1,340 kg (2,954 lb). The BMW M4 weighs 3,530 lbs (1,480 kg).

A stock 2015 BMW M4 is powered by a 3.0 liter TwinPower turbocharged six-cylinder that produces 425 horsepower. But this M4’s powerplant has been tuned and it’s not revealed how much the new coupe is producing. It’s getting substantially more than the stock model. Highly tuned models of the M4 are appearing more and more as tuners have always liked the M models. This drag race shows what a tuned turbo six can produce.
