Michigan's Biggest Camaro/Firebird Charity Car Show is this Saturday

The annual Michigan F-Body Association Meet & Greet is the biggest collection of Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird show cars that you can see in the state and the 2017 MIFBody.com event runs tomorrow from 9am to 3pm at Baker’s of Milford.

Each year, Brian Meissen and a massive collection of members from MIFbody.com head to Baker’s of Milford, a restaurant about 3 miles from I96 in beautiful Milford, Micihgan. Baker’s is best known locally for their sprawling Sunday car cruises with vehicles of all makes and models, but the popular eatery also has a handful of club-specific events during the year, with the MIFbody.com Meet and Greet being one of them.

The 2017 Michigan F-Body Association Meet & Greet
2017 marks the 13th year for the Michigan F-Body Association Meet & Greet and with a combination of more than 285 preregistrations and a forecast of clear skies, 2017 should be an incredible event for Camaro and Firebird fans. The MIFbody.com event at Baker’s is routinely the biggest Camaro and Firebird event in Michigan, but rain has kept some people away in past years. With clear skies and warm weather expected, there is a good chance there will be well over 300 examples of the legendary Chevrolet and Pontiac muscle cars.

I am fortunate enough to live near Baker’s and although I do not have a Camaro or Firebird, I have visited the MIFbody.com Meet & Greet several times over the course of the past decade and I can attest to the quality of this show. We can expect to see every generation of Firebird and Camaro, with varying trim lines of each car from each generation leading to a rolling history lesson of the GM muscle cars. From super rare, all-original classic Camaros and Firebirds to massively modified modern muscle cars, this huge GM-only car show draws an incredible spread of Chevrolet and Pontiac performance past and present.

Most importantly, each year Brian Meissen and his army of Camaro and Firebird owners donate the money raised at the Meet & Greet to a designated charity. This year, the proceeds of the MIFbody.com event at Baker’s of Milford will go to The International FPIES Foundation – a group which helps to raise funds for the study and treatment of Food Protein Induced Enterocolitis Syndrome. You can read more about that great charity by clicking here.

The Michigan F-Body Association Meet & Greet is open to public spectators and if you have a Camaro or Firebird and can be in the area, there might be space for you to show your car while you meet Brian and the other folks from MIFbody.com. Again, the event runs from 9am to 3pm at Baker’s of Milford, about 3 miles from the junction of Milford Road and I96. Whether you want to show off your own Chevrolet or Pontiac muscle car or if you just want to check out the biggest collection of Camaros and Firebirds in Michigan, make sure to drop by Baker’s this Saturday.
