GeigerCars Builds a Meaner, Greener Dodge Charger Hellcat

The German tuning experts at GeigerCars have made a name for themselves in creating some monster performance packages for American vehicles sold overseas and the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat is their latest project – adding impressive power, a new suspension setup and new wheels wrapped in wider rear tires along with that striking green exterior paint.

The Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat is the most powerful and the fastest 4-door car in the world with a 707 horsepower supercharged Hemi affording it a top speed over 200 miles per hour. No other 4-door car in the world can keep pace with the Hellcat Charger, but there are still people out there who want even more power.

The demand for greater levels of performance have led to a spread of well-known Hellcat tuning companies here in the United States, but with the rise in popularity of the supercharged Dodge Charger in Europe, the crew at GeigerCars in Germany has built a big power package for the 4-door Hellcat.

The GeigerCars Hellcat Charger
GeigerCars offers grey market import services of American performance vehicles in the European market, and the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat joins a list of available vehicles from FCA which also includes the Dodge Durango, the Dodge Challenger (SRT 392 and Hellcat), the Viper ACR and the Ram Rebel. Basically, if you live in Germany and you want a high performance American vehicle that isn’t offered through your local FCA dealership network – like the Hellcat Charger – GeigerCars can get it for you.

Also, as is the case with many of the American performance vehicles which GeigerCars imports, their tuning division has a performance upgrade package for the Hellcat Charger which improves performance and changes the appearance a bit.

The Hellcat Charger from GeigerCars has four key features – the power upgrade package, the suspension package, the wheel/tire package and the striking green paint.

The power upgrade package for the GeigerCars Hellcat Charger includes a stainless steel exhaust system with “flap control” which I believe to be similar to the factory exhaust valve system, a new air intake box and an engine tune – all of which lift the output from 707 horsepower and 650lb-ft of torque to 782 horsepower and 681lb-ft of torque.

Next, there is the suspension package, which replaces the standard electronic, adjustable damper system with a high performance adjustable coilover setup from KW. I am a little surprised that GeigerCars decided to remove the standard Hellcat suspension, but they know best what their customers want.

The final functional change is the package-specific wheels and tires, which includes lightweight 22 inch Geiger wheels wrapped in high performance tires measuring 265/30ZR22 up front and 295/25ZR22 out back (wider than the standard 275 rear tires).

Last, but most certainly not least, GeigerCars has come up with the unique Hellcat Green exterior paint option with the black Hellcat head logos spread across the rear quarter panels. I think that the Hellcat Charger looks freakin’ amazing with this exterior design.

Pricing and Availability in Germany
GeigerCars currently lists two Hellcat Dodge Charger sedans on their German website – the one shown above in Hellcat Green and one shown in TorRed. The green car has a price of 89,900 Euros while the red car costs 86,900 Euros ($97,500 USD). According to the crew at TopSpeed, the full GeigerCars performance package for the Hellcat Charger with the paint, the wheels, the suspension and the power package adds 23,600 Euros to the final price, so the green car listed definitely doesn’t have the whole package – or the pricing isn’t correct.

The bottom line is that the GeigerCars package for the Hellcat Charger will run a German buyer around 110,500 Euros – or right around $124,000 US dollars.

Really, if you live in Europe and you have the equivalent of $97,500 to buy a new Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat from GeigerCars, you surely have the extra $6,500 to make your supercharged Mopar super sedan that much more unique and that much more powerful. In the end, the GeigerCars Hellcat Charger should offer better acceleration and handling with the bigger tires, the new suspension and the added power, while that bright metallic green paint with the contrasting black trim makes this one unmistakable street machine.
