Tesla Giga Berlin's Error Culture is Remarkable.

Tesla Giga Berlin's construction is progressing at a rapid pace. A contractor hired by Tesla told the "world": "The company learns incredibly quickly and is constantly adapting new knowledge."

Elon Musk is satisfied. “Giga Berlin is being built at record speed,” tweeted the Tesla boss at the end of July. "The German method with prefabricated components is very impressive."

From next summer Tesla plans to build up to 500,000 cars a year in its Gigafactory 4 in Grünheide in Brandenburg near Berlin. The factory would have to be completed in just one year.

That actually seems possible. Because Tesla does not wait for the approval of building applications of Giga Berlin, but simply builds on it - and improves the applications in the ongoing process.

"The error culture at Tesla is remarkable," said Dierk Homeyer, spokesman for the Arikon construction company working on the Gigafactory, of "Welt" . "The company learns incredibly quickly and is constantly adapting to new knowledge."
