Subaru Owners Are Targeted, Paid $2,000 To Buy A Ford Bronco In Seattle

If you are a Subaru owner in Seattle, listen up. Ford will pay you $2,000 to buy a Bronco. How loyal will you be now?

How loyal are Subaru owners in Seattle, Washington? We are about to find out. According to CarsDirect, in a bulletin that Ford sent to its dealerships in Seattle, Washington, "The American automaker has introduced a new Subaru Competitive Bonus Cash program that gives current Subaru owners and lessees an extra $1,000 off the price of a 2023 or 2024 Ford Bronco or Bronco Sport."

Wow, That's A Good Deal

The report says Ford has introduced a new bonus cash program to attract Subaru Forester, Outback, and Crosstrek owners to consider purchasing a Ford Bronco or Bronco Sport. Based on its analysis of the bonus cash program, most Bronco and Bronco Sport trims are eligible for the new deal except for the range-topping Raptor, says CarsDirect.

But You Said Ford Would Pay Subaru Owners $2,000

Current Subaru owners who want the $2,000 cash back Ford is offering must buy a 2023 Ford Bronco. The 2023 Bronco is still available in limited numbers, and all buyers can get an additional $1,000 off. Add in the incentive for Subaru owners, and $2,000 is on the table.

Subaru owners who take advantage of the new Competitive Bonus Cash program and can find a 2023 Bronco can get up to $2,000 off. But who knows? Ford sounds ready to deal, and why not try to get more?

How Do Subaru Owners Take Advantage Of The Offer?

Cars Direct says, "To qualify for the new Subaru Competitive Bonus Cash program, shoppers must own or lease a 1995 or newer Subaru vehicle. Owners don't have to trade their cars, and the deal can be transferred to other drivers within the same household."

It's Only For Subaru Owners

"This is an unusual deal because it's the first time we've seen Ford specifically target Subaru with a bonus cash program for the Bronco," says CarsDirect.

Subaru has had a stranglehold in the Pacific Northwest on the all-wheel-drive SUV market. The Forester, Outback, and Crosstrek are Subaru's top sellers in markets like Seattle because of their all-weather and all-terrain capabilities.

Wilderness Models Are Popular

As I wrote recently, the Subaru Wilderness trim levels have been a massive hit with active customers who want to escape civilization. Ford is paying attention to Subaru of America's success and wants a piece of the pie. Ford wants current Subaru owners to notice.

According to a study by iSeeCars in 2020, the Subaru Forester is the most sought-after model in one U.S. city and one state in America. According to the report, "The Forester compact SUV is the top-selling car in Seattle and the best-selling model in Washington," says iSeeCars.

It's easy to figure out why the Forester is the top model in Seattle and Washington. Subaru is known for its all-weather capabilities and recreation-purposed platform. Washington and cold-weather states with mountains and snow are the big reasons Forester, Outback, and Crosstrek are top sellers.

Subaru is attracting a younger demographic with active lifestyles. These people love to trail hike, mountain bike, and snowboard. The Cascade Mountains, the perfect all-wheel-drive playground, surround Seattle.

Ford Wants You

With Ford's new Subaru Competitive Bonus Cash program, the automaker targets current Subaru owners with its latest $1000-$2000 offer for the Bronco. Ford is trying to gain a higher market share in the area by taking it away from Subaru.

How loyal will Subaru Forester, Outback, and Crosstrek owners be now? We are about to find out.
