They have rolled out a series of Hyundai Re:Mix Lab events from New York City to Los Angeles to keep a demographic who will be buying their cars, connected and interested in the Hyundai 2.0 Veloster Turbo, Genesis Coupe and Elantra Coupe. It's no wonder Hyundai is one of the fastest growing automakers in the world. Hyundai has just announced production of a special-edition production Veloster inspired by the RE:MIX Lad program.
Hyundai Re:Mix Lab events
Hyundai Re:Mix Lab is an event series all about culture, music, art, technology, and of course, Hyundai cars. This year Re:Mix events took place over 14 nights in seven key markets, Chicago, NYC, Texas, Vegas, LA, Seattle and Miami. The events have the feel of a VIP party and they cater to the demographic who will be buying Hyundai's cars. The events combine DJ’s, live performances, dancing, art exhibits, live discussion panels, an upbeat crowd, and an open bar.
The events have drawn celebrity appearances from Erykah Badu, Jus-Ske, and Yeasayer. They include live performances from Yelawolf, The Rapture and Cold War Kids. Also included are a series of panel discussions on “The Culture of Innovation”, led by Jeff Streaker and TED Fellow Yale Fox, and a Q&A with the stars and creators of AMC’s show, “Walking Dead”.
Connecting buyers through social media
Guests are able to “tap their wristbands” at activation stations placed throughout the event by Hyundai and can instantly trigger social media check-in’s, status updates and photo uploads. What better way to attract young affluent buyers to the Gaming, Music and Technology themed Velosters. The result at the end of the night is thousands of attendees have registered as Facebook users, almost three times as many status updates about the event as attendees, and an average six "Feedback per Share"!

2013 Hyundai Veloster RE:MIX
Hyundai is building on the popularity of these vehicles on tour by offering a new production model, the special edition 2013 Veloster RE:MIX. The new Veloster will feature a unique exterior appearance with a body kit and gunmetal-finish alloy wheels. Inside, the cabin will feature a “lifestyle-focused look and feel” and will be enhanced with a premium audio system. The Veloster RE:MIX can also be ordered in Century White, 26.2 Yellow, Marathon Blue, Ultra Black and Boston Red.
The all-new 2013 Hyundai Veloster RE:MIX will arrive in showrooms starting in December and will be priced at $19,900 for manual transmission and $21,150 for the DCT automatic transmission (plus a $775 freight charge).
