The team working on the extraction process at the National Corvette Museum was able to remove the 1.5 millionth Chevrolet Corvette from the debris in the sinkhole and while it was badly damaged, it wasn’t anywhere near as bad as the ZR-1 Spyder Concept as it appears that the majority of the car is still intact.

The 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 will feature a new 8-speed automatic transmission which will eventually make its way into the option list for the 2016 Corvette Stingray and when it does, the high performance “base” Corvette should most certainly be able to offer better than 30 miles per gallon on the highway.
