Yesterday after, the DriveSRT Facebook page posted a picture of a 2013 SRT Viper sitting under a canopy at what looks to be a race track and today, thanks to a reader from Car and Driver – we have video footage of the new Viper GTS tearing around Gingerman Raceway in Michigan.

The 2012 SRT Tour kicks off on July 6th and will be making its way around the country to feature the high-performance division from Chrysler.

June 2012 was another great month for the Chrysler Group as, with a year over year increase of 20% for the company as all five of the company automaker brands posted gains – including two of the top five biggest improvements by a single brand in Fiat and Chrysler.

The folks at the Chrysler Group’s SRT division have offered up a new video of their purpose built 2013 Viper GTS-R race car in action – this time tearing around the turns of Virginia International Raceway – perhaps offering a hint as to when the Viper will make its long-awaited return to the world of the American LeMans racing series.

The folks at the Inside Line introduced these pictures earlier today, showing what looks like the 2013 SRT Viper in a computer generated world with graphics that strongly resemble something that would be seen on the Xbox 360’s Forza Motorsport 4 – giving us our best look yet at the new American supercar hours before the car is formally introduced in New York.
