We know that there is a Hellcat Hemi-powered Jeep Grand Cherokee on the way in the next year or so and we expect that it will be called the Trackhawk, but before the Ram Rebel TRX Concept we had never seen a Hellcat in anything other than a rear-drive car – leading me to believe that the Hellcat Ram Concept is intended to tease the Hellcat Jeep.

The 2017 Ford F150 pickups equipped with the 3.5L EcoBoost will come standard with the new 10-speed automatic transmission and a whole lot more torque, but the jump from 6 gears to 10 is only causing a slight improvement on the fuel economy numbers – but it is still enough to beat the Hemi Ram and the Chevy Silverado Hybrid.

General Motors has announced the official power numbers for the 2017 Chevrolet Silverado HD with the 6.6L Duramax diesel and after lingering far below the competition over the past few years, the GM diesel finally has the power to properly compete with the Ford PowerStroke and the Ram Cummins – although we still don’t have towing or hauling numbers for the new Chevy.

While leaked dealership information suggested that the 2017 Ford Raptor F150 would have 450 horsepower and 510lb-ft of torque, the Motor Company announced the official specs this morning and as expected, those figures of 450 and 510 are accurate – making the new Raptor the most powerful F150 ever.
