The Hemi V8 turns 50 years old in 2014 and there would be no better way to kick off the 50th year of the mighty Hemi than by introducing the Dodge Challenger’s Hellcat Hemi at the 2014 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

There have long been rumors that the Dodge Challenger will soon be powered by a new Hemi V8 codenamed the Hellcat and while many Mopar muscle enthusiasts were expecting to wait until April to meet the new high performance Hemi – word on the street indicates that it could debut next week at the 2013 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

Yesterday in Dodge Challenger Owners Association's Facebook Group a guy named Joe Bowman shared the picture of his 2010 V6 Challenger and asked if white letters on tires are "yay or nay." To most group members they looked good and it turned out that this is the fastest V6 Challenger in the world (see the video below).

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has closed the investigation of the previous generation Dodge Viper SRT10 without requiring any further action required by the Chrysler Group – preventing the company from recalling almost 10,000 supercars for what a few people considered to be questionable rear suspension components.
