She covered the Detroit Three for more than twenty years for the ABC affiliate, in Detroit. Her affection for the Motor City comes naturally. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, she worked at WIFR in Rockford, Illinois, and WZZM-TV in Grand Rapids, Michigan, before joining WXYZ-TV.
