When the Tesla Cybertruck was introduced, the first thing that caused a great visual impression, and even a certain mixture of rejection and amazement, was precisely the design of the body: the straight and angular lines, the post-modernist aspect mixed with a certain touch of science fiction (Blade Runner, the iconic movie from the 80's always comes to mind), plus the aggressive and futuristic design left no one indifferent, both for and against Cybertruck.

The Cybertruck’s solar tonneau is certainly a key feature for any future buyer, given the fact that it would give the possibility of semi-total independence from the grid and charging stations; obviously depending on the number of miles a day driven. With 15 miles of added solar range, and with the option of adding another 25 miles (totaling 40 miles on 100% solar) by adding extra foldable solar wings, the feature is certainly attractive.

The Tesla CyberTruck will have an option for solar panels, an "ecat" system. This will allow for the truck to charge itself in the sun and possibly be able to keep the vehicle charged for users who don't drive long distances for free.
