A leading electric vehicle advocacy publication cites un-named sources as saying the imaginary Tesla Cybertruck won’t be delivered until 2023.

Cyberlandr has built a unique prototype of a camper that could fit on the back of the Cybertruck. The Cyberlandr has been in the news previously, but a new prototype gives prospective buyers a better idea of what to expect.

The Cybertruck’s solar tonneau is certainly a key feature for any future buyer, given the fact that it would give the possibility of semi-total independence from the grid and charging stations; obviously depending on the number of miles a day driven. With 15 miles of added solar range, and with the option of adding another 25 miles (totaling 40 miles on 100% solar) by adding extra foldable solar wings, the feature is certainly attractive.

The Tesla CyberTruck will have an option for solar panels, an "ecat" system. This will allow for the truck to charge itself in the sun and possibly be able to keep the vehicle charged for users who don't drive long distances for free.
