In an update to the company's online configurator, Tesla has now stopped taking new reservations for the Cybertruck. The move comes on the heels of Elon Musk announcing the futuristic truck is sold out until 2027.

Last December, after selling out within hours, Tesla has now brought back the Cybertruck-inspired whistle to the company's online shop. However, this time the Cyberwhistle can only be purchased using Doge Coin.

After several delays, the Cybertruck is currently not expected to begin deliveries until late 2023 or early 2024. And now, in a new interview, Elon Musk says Tesla has enough Cybertruck reservations to fill 3 years of production. This pushes deliveries for new reservations as far out as 2027.

Information regarding Tesla's upcoming dedicated robotaxi has been quite limited so far. In what might be the very first details about the new vehicle, Tesla today revealed the design principle of the upcoming robotaxi. Tesla says acceleration, top speed, and handling will not be a top priority for the new vehicle.
