We took a first impression ride-and-drive of the all-new 2016 iM, which will become Scion’s new flagship subcompact. Although this is a car that may have to grow on some buyers, it is likely to do well in the long run.

Two weeks ago I had a chance to test drive the 2015 Toyota Highlander Limited PLT – V6 AWD model. With my family I drove it for a week, which also included a trip from Hickory, NC to Washington, DC. Being one of the safest cars in the world (according to IIHS), I can easily confirm that this is one of the best cars I have test driven in the past five years.

While the attention of the muscle car community has turned towards the future, I recently had a chance to spend a week behind the wheel of a 2015 Chevrolet Camaro SS 1LE – a package fitted with handling goodies that easily make it one of the stickiest muscle cars I’ve driven while also serving as a clear reminder as to why the 5th generation Camaro has been so popular.

Prior to spending time in the 2015 Audi A7, I didn’t really get the allure of the European “fast back sedan” or the idea of a smallish diesel engine in a big luxury sedan, but after spending a few hundred miles, I’ve come to appreciate the fast back sedan design and the fuel sipping diesel engine – while also loving pretty much everything about the A7 TDI.

The 2015 Buick Regal GS is a stylish, fun to drive sedan with a turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, an advanced all-wheel drive system and a cabin that is packed to the hilt with premium amenities so while the Regal GS might not be the modern Grand National that many had hoped for – this is still the most exciting new Buick in decades.

The 2015 Lincoln Navigator is a rarity in the modern American auto industry as one of the few big SUVs still using the truck-like body-on-frame architecture, but that relatively old school design leads to a full sized SUV that has as much interior space and as many luxury amenities as any SUV in America – while still offering truck-like capabilities that make this high class rig a serious work horse.

During the last serious cold snap of the 2015 Detroit winter, I had a chance to spend a few days working out the 2015 Ram 2500 Tradesman with the 6.7L Cummins Turbo Diesel – a budget friendly work horse with best in class capabilities that has everything that you need and only a little of what you don’t need (but will enjoy).
