Al Castro reports Electric Vehicle news at Torque News and has a passion for the history of the automobile, but his expertise is in electric and autonomous cars. Al is also a corporate security expert, and a former law enforcement officer. He lives in Southern California. He recently graduated with honors from the California State University Los Angeles, earning a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism. In his spare time Al maintains a blog about police and transportation matters and collects diecast replica cars, some rare, mostly Rolls Royce and Bentley, mostly post war to current model years.
