October 2012 was a month that Ford Motor Company likely looks forward to putting behind them as with a weaker month by the Ford brand and a horrible month for Lincoln, the Motor Company posted a growth of less than 1% - making them one of the worst performance automakers in the US in terms of growth.
October 2012 proved to be a good month for the folks at General Motors, with all four of their current brands showing positive growth while the company as a whole led the US market in sales volume with 195,674 vehicles sold last month.
The sales numbers are in for October 2012 and once again, the Chrysler Group is the strongest of the American automakers and third from the top among major auto groups – trailing only Toyota Motor Company and the BMW Group.
