Exactly two weeks ago today, the Chrysler Group announced the new 2013 Dodge Dart GT – the highest performance variant of the sporty compact sedan offered to date – but the ongoing 2013 North American International Auto Show brought about the formal world debut of the new Dart GT sedan.

While the 2013 SRT Viper is the only American performance car that is actually built in Detroit, the 2013 North American International Auto Show brought about the first appearance of the newest Viper to the Detroit Auto Show – with two of the gorgeous American supercars there in both GTS and GTS-R form.
