Test Drive GM cars and help donate Cell Phones for Soldiers

The General Motors Group and Affinion Loyalty Group are teaming up to host a GM ride and drive event to support United States military troops. The drive will help acquire cell phone donations for our soldiers through the program called, “Cell Phones for Soldiers”.

British PM drives MINI Cooper convertible off of the assembly line

Ten years ago, in 2001, the German automobile manufacturer, British Motor Corporation (BMW) began producing the MINI as one of their automotive marques. Just few days ago, UK Prime Minister David Cameron drove the two millionth MINI Cooper convertible off the production line from the plant in Oxford, the Downing Street reports.

No imported 2012 Toyota Camry sedans for the US

Mr. Akio Toyoda loves bragging about how “American” the Camry is and when the 2012 Toyota Camry begins hitting the market later this month – all new Camrys sold in the US will be built in the Japanese automaker’s Georgetown, Kentucky production facility and going forward, none of the Camry sedans built in Japan will be shipped into the US market.
