GM leads the US industry in June 2011 sales

Once again General Motors has claimed the top spot in the American auto industry with a 10.5% improvement over June 2010 allowing them to sell 215,358 vehicles in June 2011.

Toyota promotes altruism in America

Toyota is making plans to share its efficiencies expertise for free in 2011 to give a helping hand to 20 schools, hospitals and nonprofit organizations. The Japanese company will assist groups through its proprietary Toyota Production System, which it typically uses to improve just-in-time processes in the automotive industry.

Chrysler leads the industry in June 2011 growth

The good times continued for Chrysler in June, as the company led all major automakers in the US auto industry with a year-over-year growth of 30% - moving them into the third spot in vehicle sales for the month of June 2011 as they jumped over a still-struggling Toyota.
