Electric cars are not only for the rich any more than combustion cars were, but there will be electric cars only the rich can afford. Rolls Royce has developed a test vehicle to explore alternatives to combustion engines for the first time in their 107-year history.

Spyker announces new C8 Aileron GT racer

The folks at Spyker have been very busy over the past few months showing off new Saab models around the world (with some of those beginning production) along with selling the Spyker cars brand to the company that had been producing the chassis and body panels for the company but that hasn’t stopped them from planning a new Spyker race car based on the C8 Aileron.

DeTomaso Deauville unveiled at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show

We have known for some time now that the DeTomaso name would be returning to the automotive world and with the start of the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, we know that the new DeTomaso is not called the SLC or SLS as had been previously surmised, but rather the name Deauville has been chosen for this new luxury sedan.
