The verdict is final as the judges have chosen Entry Number 1600, the 1956 Ford convertible owned Bruce Ricks from Sapulta, OK for the Detroit Autorama 2011 Ridler Award.

Ford and Sollers announce joint venture to build, sell cars in Russia

The 50/50 partnership will involve production facilities in the St. Petersberg region and the Republic of Tartarstan. An application has been submitted to the Russian government to participate in the new Industrial Assembly policy.

Kbb.com names top 10 family cars of 2011

The family of today comes in as many shapes and sizes as the vehicles best suited to them. In the distant past this was simply a choice of a sedan or station wagon from a handful of makes and models. Now the head of household has to choose from a dizzying array or minivans, crossovers, SUVs and hatchbacks of all different sizes.

2011 Detroit Autorama Great 8 Finalist - 1947 Chevrolet Pickup

Named the N-VEEE, this 1947 Chevy pickup has a sea-foam green color simlar to a Ford vehicle in last year's contention for the Ridler.

I thought RamRod, a Dodge pickup, might win last year; it didn't. Perhaps this time.
