Back in April, Elon Musk announced his intention to buy the social media giant, Twitter. And since this announcement, Tesla's stock has been suffering due to fears that Twitter will take Musk's attention away from Tesla. However, late today we learned Musk has officially decided to walk away from the deal, and unsurprisingly the news has caused a surge in Tesla's stock price

Munro & Associates has begun the first teardown of the 4680 Model Y with a structural battery pack. From the initial observations, the firm's engineers have called the structural pack architecture mind-blowing. And now, Musk has responded to Munro & Associate's comments saying "it is still far from optimized."

According to a new estimate by Morgan Stanley, Tesla has delivered a record 158,000 vehicles in June. If the estimates are correct, this means, Tesla has already reached an annualized vehicle production run rate of 1.9 million cars.

In the 3rd part of Elon Musk's interview with Tesla Owners Silicon Valley, Musk says that Tesla has finally locked the design of the Cybertruck and that they "got carried away" with all the changes made to the futuristic truck. Musk has also again pushed the Cybertruck production date and now says it will come in "the middle of next year, roughly 12 monthish."

The vehicle was a bit of a head scratcher for the Tesla community as it has worse range & performance than the 2170 Model Y Long Range. However, now we learned that Tesla is offering an acceleration boost for the refreshed Model Y through an over-the-air update.

Earlier this week, Kia announced small price increases on two of its non-electrified models for the 2023 model year in the U.S. market, the Seltos subcompact SUV and Carnival minivan. These price increases are all less than $1,000, due to inflation and increased shipping costs, and don’t necessarily affect all trim levels of these models. But it begs the question: Will Kia be raising prices on its other models soon too?

Tesla started refreshed 4680 Model Y deliveries at the Giga Texas opening event. However, initial deliveries were limited to Tesla employees. Later, Tesla widened the pool of individuals that could get the new vehicle to Austin, then the entire state of Texas. Now, Tesla has begun inviting Model Y reservation holders outside Texas to get the refreshed version of the all-electric crossover.
