The Tesla Model Y has captured the hearts of the California people and is the best selling vehicle in that state of any kind.

Tesla Model Y and Model 3 Reign Supreme

The largest auto market in the United States is California. The Tesla Model Y just became the best-selling vehicle there, and there are implications. Many people are surprised by this, however, to those watching, it is not a surprise.

The Model Y is in the heart of the most popular segment of the crossover SUV in the United States, which is California. Also, people in California are early adopters of technology and willing to buy an EV.

The Model Y is also a best-selling vehicle in Europe and will continue to be so due to Giga Berlin. It is Tesla's top driver of sales around the world. The crossover and small SUV segment seems to be in high demand right now.

There are other choices, but they aren't as good. The Ford Mustang Mach-E doesn't have the performance and range of a Model Y - or the charging network available to it.

Some may wonder when the competition is going to come and take a share of the Model Y. The problem with this is Tesla's huge lead in EVs, and I don't think a competitor is going to be able to catch Tesla any time soon.

1 in 10 vehicles sold in California is a Tesla, and Tesla has taken the heart of California.

Here are the top sellers in California for 2022, according to multiple news reports:

* Tesla Model Y: 87,257
* Tesla Model 3: 78,934
* Toyota RAV4: 59,794
* Toyota Camry: 55,967
* Toyota Corolla: 44,782

The Model 3 is the next bestseller in California. I think the only reason that it isn't number 1 is that the Model Y offers more space and more hauling ability for things people own. It can also fit dogs and pets in it much easier, as well as back seat passengers.

Tesla has a Cybertruck coming out later this year, which will compete with the pickup truck segment and in the United States, this is an important segment. The Cybertruck will sell to many people, and California is also the perfect segment for this. California is the top market for pickup trucks in the United States.

The Cybertruck is not a traditionally looking pickup truck, and this is a good thing. Once the Cybertruck is being seen on the streets, questions are going to get asked and people are going to get curious.

In face, Elon Musk made a very interesting revelation about the Cybertruck.

The Model S and Model X won't make the bestseller list because they are premium luxury vehicles.

What do you think of the Model Y being a bestseller in California? Will it be the same for 2023?
