Jay Leno was just spotted driving a Foundation Series Cybertruck, number 5 out of 1,000. He says that it is "incredible" and "feels as fast as a Tesla Plaid." He also said that it wasn't his and came from one of his buddy's and just came off the line.

Jay Leno Driving Foundation Series Cybertruck

Jay Leno was spotted driving a Foundation series Cybertruck on the streets. His number was 5 out of the 1,000 that will be produced.

When asked about it, he said:

"It's not mine, I'm just using it, and it belongs to a buddy of mine. It's truck number 5 and just came off the line. It's incredible. It's as fast as a Tesla Plaid."

A Foundation series Cybertruck is a Cyberbeast version with maximum performance. It has 3 motors and can go from 0 to 60 mph in about 2.6 seconds. It also comes with many special things just for the first 1,000.

It was shown at the Cybertruck delivery event beating a Porsche 911 in a race, all while towing another Porsche 911.

There are other versions of the Cybertruck that will be available in 2024 and beyond. Right now, Tesla is focusing on delivering the first 1,000 Cybertrucks to early reservation holders. The deliveries are being started in Texas and California. The single-motor variant will be released in 2025.

The truck is a bit pricier than the regular Cyberbeast and costs $120,000. This is pricey for most people, however, you do not need to be rich to afford a Tesla Model 3 RWD.

Tesla Cybertruck Foundation Series

These first 1,000 Cybertrucks are going to be collector's items one day. The reason I think that is the unique engravings and special features they come with. Tesla is giving the first reservation holders a special offering.

When you look at the Tesla lineup of vehicles, the Cybertruck stands out as a unique vehicle. Elon Musk and Tesla took a big risk with it, and it is paying off so far.

These Foundation series Cybertrucks are easily identifiable with a Cerberus-like emblem on them as well as laser engraving that says, Foundation Series.

They also come with some special features and premium connectivity. Jay Leno also said that this truck just came off the line and is from one of his buddy's.

There's going to be more videos of these initial Cybertrucks coming out. The Cybertruck is currently breaking the internet with over 20 million video views in just a few days.

What do you think about Jay Leno driving this Foundation series Cybertruck? Will more celebrities be seen driving them?

Is anyone else skeptical that someone 'just happened' to come across Jay Leno driving one and he just happens to be happy to talk about it and give an endorsement when it just happens to be his buddy's car and not his. Is this buddy 'Elon Musk'?
