Find Porsche news from today and latest stories covering Porsche cars from expert Torque News reporters. Since 1931, Porsche has been designing cars for the people. Starting out as a small vehicle development and consulting company, they designed vehicles for the German government before and during WWII. From tanks and equipment to the Volkswagen Beetle, Porsche has had its place in history. Porsche’s first complete car came from the underpinnings of said Beetle, and became the 356. Porsche continued developing cars for motorsport and eventually the rest of the world. The company found huge success in the 911 model of 1968. Porsche is renowned for designing their automobiles with quality, refinement, and performance.

Porsche now offers a wider range of cars from the iconic performance in the 911, to the spacious Panamera sedans/wagons, and the luxurious Macan and Cayenne SUVs. The 718 Cayman and Boxster models are the entry level sports cars for Porsche and are getting ever so good over the years along with the new electric Taycan which leads Porsche into a new era of innovation.
