Porsche recalls Cayenne models for headlights falling out

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced a recall of over 20,000 Porsche Cayenne sport utility vehicles over a concern that the headlight assemblies could detach from the fender and fall out of their proper mounting points.

The Daytona 500 start postponed again, moved to 7pm

Yesterday marked the first time in the history of the “Great American Race” that the fabled Daytona 500 was postponed, with the area blanketed in a rain that prevented track crews from ever getting the track dry enough to race and unfortunately for NASCAR fans, today’s noon start time has now been pushed back to 7pm due to continuing rains.

Chevrolet claims to be the top performance brand in the US

General Motors issued a statement this morning proclaiming that Chevrolet is the top performance brand in the US and while some American gearheads might dispute that – the General provided a bit of information to back up that lofty claim with the help of the Camaro and the Corvette.
