In a recent article published by Australian electric vehicle (EV) news site The Driven, Toyota is all but thrown on the dustbin of history for its foot dragging and active resistance toward the move to EVs. The other day I plugged in my Kia Sorento plug-in hybrid (PHEV) at a free, public 240V charging station while I met up with old friends over a bit of nosh.
