This '49 Mercury won its class and was totally stock. It was right next to a '49 Red Merc that had frenched headlights and custom grille; a great comparison of stock vs custom.

This tractor looked more like a funny car to me. It was the cleanest I have ever seen.

While there were plenty of bikes, the Indian got the ribbons.

Beautiful Chrysler Air Flow

I well remember the forward Look of Chrysler products in the late 1950s. I even had and still have a Forward Look pin that my sister Joan gave me, because she worked as a secretary at Dodge Main.

This vecicle reminds me of the Gearheads hot rod owned by Bob Spilos. This one won at EOD, while Spilos won the Gene Winfield Extreme Award at the Autorama two years ago.

Rachel didn't want her pic taken at first until I said her name after asking permission of her dad, as that is my daughter's name as well. Little Rachel here adorned a Greyhound wagon with a special steering mechanism likely invented by her father or it was stock.

The pair of Corvairs generated quite a few waves of visitors. It seems people may have forgotten that these cars were in fact rear engines, and made in America.
