Every year, I cover the Tokyo Auto Salon; this year, Subaru Corporation has put the world on notice. Subaru Tecnica International (STI) Subaru Corporation's performance division is not dead. It's alive and well.

Subaru announced its Tokyo Auto Salon 2024 lineup, and STI is on full display with three new hot models. Subaru has to reinvent itself and its performance models because the globe is moving towards new all-electric models.

STI will go all-electric, and a new electric STI is coming. Still, with its internal combustion engine (ICE) models, STI and Subaru Corporation are making a bold statement before that happens.

What made the Japanese automaker great?

Subaru is keeping its ICE performance vehicles alive with the three hot new models, and they will show the world that Subaru is "challenging every road in the world and continuing to seek true driving please."
