Roomy and spacious, the interior is nicely finished, and the touch-screen infotainment system is a major improvement. The Outback rides very comfortably, and handling is plenty responsive and secure. What sets the 2017 Outback apart?

The 2017 Outback is not a true wagon and appeals to a broader audience in the U.S. than ever before. It’s bigger than a traditional wagon, features more cargo capacity, has a higher ground clearance (8.7-inches), and comes standard with Subaru’s Symmetrical all-wheel-drive system for all-weather performance.

The SUV-alternative Outback also comes with more luxury than ever before. With the 2017 Touring model, consumers can get a rich Java Brown perforated leather-trimmed upholstery and exclusive woodgrain interior finish for the first time. The 2017 Outback also comes with a suite of safety features when ordered with Subaru’s Eyesight driver-assist system.
