How fans feel about the new 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro color.

Well, it’s Toyota TRD Pro time.

Yes, that is right. As springtime gets into full swing, Toyota Tacoma and Tundra and 4Runner and Sequoia enthusiasts know what this time of year is really about.

The big announcement for the 2024 TRD Pro signature paint color.

TRD Pro Colors History

Each year, at least since 2015, Toyota has rolled out a new signature TRD Pro color. Truck and SUV fans can choose this color for their favorite Tundra, 4Runner, Sequoia, and Tacoma TRD Pro.

Previous colors have been Inferno Orange (2015), Quicksand (2016), Cement (2017), Cavalry Blue (2018), Voodoo Blue (2019), Army Green (2020), and Lunar Rock (2021).

The year 2022 was different from the others, as there were several special colors. Lime Rush made it to 4Runner. Electric Lime Metallic was picked for Tacoma. Solar Octane came on Tundra. Lunar Rock carried over for Sequoia.

This current year, 2023, all four Toyota models came with Solar Octane.

2024 Tacoma TRD Pro Colors

Since the 2024 Toyota Tacoma reveal is set for May 19th, we do not have any specific details about this highly anticipated new generation midsize truck.

However, I could probably take an educated guess for some of the 2024 Tacoma TRD Pro colors. I would assume a white shade - probably Ice Cap. Maybe a black paint color such as Midnight Black Metallic. Hard to say about the third exterior color – perhaps a silver or a gray shade.

But the truly big deal that most people are waiting for, the unique signature color, is still up in the air and as polarizing as ever. My preferences would be from the black cherry, yellow, or brick red palettes.

Fans Speak Out on 2024 Tundra TRD Pro

I asked members of Facebook forums “TundraCrew” and “Toyota Tacoma Enthusiast”, as well as my “ToyotaJeff Reviews” YouTube channel, for their thoughts.

Roy is hoping for a return to old school. “I’m hoping they bring back the Quicksand.”

“Would like to see a Yellow special edition Tacoma...” Hoped Adam.

Deb has a specific shade in mind. “Please Toyota make it a deep brick red.”

“I saw a yellow wrapped taco yesterday. Looked like a 2017 and I was in awe it looked amazing.” Added Casey.

Jamison wants Solar Octane again.

More 2024 Toyota Tacoma Comments

“Salmon” Commented Jacob.

Curtis would like an eye-catching color. “Fluorescent magenta.”

“I hope they’ll bring back the imperial jade color. It looks so good!” Remarked Jay-ar.

Some more votes are in. Mike wants cypress blue, Kurt would like chili pepper red, and Chris asked for pyrite mica.

“I’d like it to be like a cream color, almost like sand.” Added Ayo.

Lee has a specific request and observation. “A dark Forest green that’s metallic. I am not fan of the colors that look like primer or furniture from the 70s.”

A lot of the Pro colors over the years have been old FJ Cruiser paints. The Brick Red hasn't been used yet and would be nice.

I don’t care the color I hope the build will be better than the 22 Tundra on the body and the molding around the windows the hood gaps differently on each side. Mechanical I have no issues

Your title was crafted to suggest that the color was actually announced, yet... all your article contains are personal perspectives, which obviously no one cares about unless you actually conducted rigorous nationwide research with thousands in your sample making the results statistically sound. Gonna add this site to my google ignore list so that I never get your dumb hooks in my browser again.

Now the is the saddest story I’ve ever read about Toyota’s flagship off-road trucks.
Ford raptors get 1000 hp motors
Dodge TRX “sitting eight inches wider than the RAM 1500, TRX makes a bold impression……”

And Toyota, the Drug Store Cowboy of the off-road pack (All hat and no cows), Teases it’s devotees with a New color mystery! Things ain’t been right with Toyota since they killed the Land Cruisers. Mamas don’t let your babies grow up to be Toyota Drug Store Cowboy Truck drivers!
