Tesla CEO Elon Musk just made two revealing tweets about the upcoming Cybertruck saying it will reach far in the future and bring the future technologies to now. He also promised a new update on Cybertruck, explaining why he was rather silent on Tesla's electric truck.

The first tweet was a response to Whole Mars Catalog who wrote that he loves the new Tesla steering yoke and that he thinks it's very satisfying to use. Someone tweeted back and asked if the Cybertruck will have the yoke. Elon Musk replied and wrote "Cybertruck is intentionally an insane technology bandwagon."

He also made a second tweet, revealing "Cybertruck will reach far into a post-apocalyptic future & bring that technology to now."

Now those are two good tweets that say a lot, without saying much. But Elon, can we get a legit Cybertruck update? It's been about 2 years after all.

Actually many people were asking this question, requesting a Cybertruck update from Elon Musk. And as I was still preparing this report, Elon tweeted and wrote "Oh man, this year has been such a supply chain nightmare and it’s not over! I will provide an updated product roadmap on next earnings call."

To be honest I am excited and a bit perplexed frankly at the design challenges of the Tesla Cybertruck, but am extremely confident that Elon Musk and his team will make it fabulous. But now, we need a little more info about the Cybertruck. it's been a long time since we have received a solid update on Tesla's electric truck.

I think we need a Cybertruck reveal part 2. I am looking forward to seeing the slight re-design even if deliveries won’t happen until late 2022.

We recently just heard news that Tesla may be up to 3 million Cybertruck reservations. This is a large number of reservations and is much more than Ford, Rivian, or any car maker making trucks. Let's also see how long it would take Tesla to deliver 3 million Cybertrucks.

I would love to hear from you if you have anything to say to add to this story. Please comment below and let me know your thoughts on when you think Tesla will solve the chip nightmare and release the Cybertruck.
