Truck accessories are big business. Most vehicles are designed with the very best exterior and interior qualities and features that most buyers want. However, that is far from the finished product, especially for truck buyers.
Accessories allow people to make their new vehicles look better, to add convenience, to protect them, to improve performance and to add value. In short, they wish to “make it their own”.
I read a statistic that 30%-50% of truck buyers add at least one new accessory to their newly-purchased vehicles within the first 6 months. Toyota offers an upgrade package in some of its selling regions that gives people the opportunity to easily customize their 2020 Tacoma trucks.
XP Predator package upgrades 2020 Tacoma
Fans of the 2020 Toyota Tacoma might be interested in the XP Predator upgrade package. The main highlight of XP is the combination of new wheels and tires. Look for 16-inch TRD Pro alloy wheels with all-terrain tires.

On a side note, you can find XP package upgrades on other Toyota models, such as 2020 4Runner and 2020 Tundra. These are all similar in that they feature black overlay logos and badging. The 2020 Tacoma has a blacked out “Tacoma” tailgate insert as well.
Other features you may be interested in with the XP Predator package on a 2020 Tacoma, or earlier year models as well, are predator pro step bars and black exhaust tip.
You can customize a 2020 Tacoma on your own
Of course, you can always just do what most truck owners do and customize your truck on your own exactly the way you want it. Aftermarket TRD Pro wheels are one of the most requested accessories from Toyota, so this XP Predator package is a convenient way to get them, along with a few other nice looking parts in this package.

I’ll take “2020 Tacoma” updates for $300 please Alex
The Toyota Tacoma has been refreshed for the 2020 model year. A new front grille design is bold and solid looking. A 10-way power driver’s seat, found in all V6 models SR5 level and above, offers comfort for people of all heights and sizes.
Also, multimedia upgrades offer extra features and conveniences. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are standard across the board. Plus multimedia touch screens are larger for 2020 Tacoma. You will find 7-inch screens in the SR trim level and 8-inch screens in all others. Big improvement.
Time for your thoughts on 2020 Tacoma
It would not make sense to tell you the highlights of this XP Predator package without mentioning cost. This is listed on the factory window sticker for a retail price of $2,999.
How does the XP Predator package look to you on the Tacoma? Would you get it on any other Toyota model?
Thanks for reading everyone. See you next story.

I guess Toyota has lost me as

I guess Toyota has lost me as a customer. I’ve owned three Tacomas and currently drive a 2013. I plan on it being my last. Toyota left me behind in pursuit of marketing to the younger clientele with sportier and more expensive models. The Gulf States region has flooded the dealerships with luxury Tacomas in the 36k-45k price point. I mean it’s overwhelming, too many configurations and too many options. I’m sick of hearing Army Green and tired of hearing TRD Pro. Toyota is pushing this double cab SR with a 4cyl engine, added TSS decals, cheap running boards and “black out” features, all of this is added at the Port after it leaves the factory. It’s such a scam! The SR5 double cab with a V6 engine is priced the same as an SR with a 4cyl engine, the TSS “off road” decals added at port really mean nothing. Under the hood it’s 4cyl but not worthy of off road with 159 horsepower. This started in 2018 and apparently continues into the 2020 model. No access cabs available in Gulf States region and none of the lower price point models available here. They are obsessed with selling luxury trucks now instead of simple and reliable trucks like the first generation. My 2003 Tacoma was much heavier and better built than my 2013.
Also if I wanted 4 doors I would buy a damn car. If I wanted luxury I would buy a Land Rover. Why do I need to take a second mortgage out to buy a Tacoma?
