If you have seen any of the recent 2015 Subaru WRX STI video’s with Bucky Lasek, you know how funny they are. Subaru is using a new “movie” The Ride of Her Life with Bucky Lasek who can’t act worth beans, to promote the new 2015 WRX STI performance car. Lasek is also a driver for the Subaru Global RallyCross team in the new 2015 WRX STI, and it’s debatable if he’s even a good driver. But it’s brilliant how Subaru is using this new film.

Lasek plays a mysterious drifter who arrives on the scene driving his new Rally Blue Launch Edition 2015 Subaru WRX STI. It’s the story of a gorgeous young country girl who falls in love with Lasek, who is igniting a winner-take-all war between him and her overprotective father. He’s the toughest sheriff in the world, forcing her to choose between the family she loves, and the man with the turbocharged machine to give her...The Ride of Her Life.

In this hilarious video below, Lasek needs acting lessons to get more “feeling” about his love for the new Launch Edition 2015 WRX STI he drives in the new film. The director of The Ride of Her Life, gets a little upset with Lasek because he can’t get enough emotion into his lines. Bucky Lasek finally gets it right and puts a little pizzaz into his line and says, “This car can handle anything.” The director is finally pleased with the results and wonders where he can pick up his paycheck.

This new trailer showing Lasek getting acting lessons is pure marketing genius by Subaru. They are connecting with a generation that will be buying the new 2015 Subaru WRX and 2015 Subaru WRX STI. You won’t see many suits driving the new-generation performance cars. A younger buyer who loves performance will be in the showrooms looking at the new STI. It’s brilliant marketing by Subaru.
