Lexus has issued a call to artists to use their pencils, paints or pixels to render an image of the 2014 Lexus IS F-Sport for the chance to win one of 25 prizes, including a complimentary lease of a new Lexus IS for one year.

The winning image of the exhilarating new performance sedan will become larger than life at the SEMA car show this coming November, and the contest is allowing artists a month to submit their works for consideration.

For any artist that’s driven this car that “contains a slice from the soul of its antecedent Lexus IS-F and… gauging inspired by the LFA supercar,” inspiration should not be a problem.

The contest is already open and submissions will be accepted until the second before midnight on August 12.

Besides the top prize, second, third and 22 other prizes will be awarded.

Then, some very lucky artiste will have his or her artwork displayed at SEMA November 5 to 8. Then they will return home to pick up their new lease of a 2014 Lexus IS at a local dealer.

Naturally, the winner will have to ensure the car, in compliance with the lease, but we should all have such problems.

Who knows, we may try our hand at a bit of graphic design ourselves – we’ve driven the 2014 Lexus IS F-Sport and we would be absolutely delighted to drive one for a year.
