These two vehicles are very similar in performance, but there are two big differences for performance enthusiasts. The Subaru WRX comes standard with all-wheel-drive, while the Veloster N is front drive only. It all depends on where you live. If you live in a cold weather climate, you would want the all-weather capability of the WRX. If you live where the snow doesn’t fly, the Veloster N would do just fine.

Another big difference is the Veloster N is a 5-Door hatch body style while the WRX is a four-door sedan and you have a small trunk for cargo. The Hyundai Veloster N will have better utility and cargo carrying ability. If you don’t have passengers to haul around, the WRX has split folding rear seats that fold down for extra cargo room.

If you want a hot hatch, the 2019 Hyundai Veloster N is a fun sports car, a bit more expensive but offers the utility of a 5-Door. For an affordable all-weather sport sedan, the 2019 Subaru WRX is hard to beat.

Great comparison!
I used to own a 2015 WRX Premium. Even though not a hatchback, I was able to put my full size mountain bike in the back with removing the front tire. I also owned a 2013 Veloster Turbo. I could put my bike in the back ad well. I had to move the passenger seat full forward.

The WRX WAS fun. I'd get a little clash shifting into second gear and the ride was very stiff.

Problem with Veloster fuel cut under acceleration.

The Veloster N doesn't "offer the utility of a 5-door" lol. Don't forget it's technically only a 4-door as there is no rear passenger door on the driver's side of the vehicle.
