Toyota's new 2018 Tundra TRD Sport will have equipment as well as appearance upgrades.

At the Chicago Auto Show today Toyota launched an all-new trim package for the Tundra full-sized pickup truck. Called the 2018 Tundra TRD Sport, the new trim includes both appearance and equipment upgrades.

The Tundra TRD Sport starts with either a 4x4 or 4x2 CrewMax or Double Cab configuration. The Tundra's proven 381-horsepower 5.7-liter i-Force V8 engine will power the TRD Sport. The biggest mechanical upgrade over other Tundra trims will be TRD Sport Tuned Bilstein Shocks and TRD front and rear anti-sway bars. The TRD Sport will also have 20-inch sport wheels in silver. A bold move since black rims are all the rage today.

Other equipment will include:
-Color-keyed mirrors, front and rear bumpers
-Color-keyed hood scoop
-LED Headlights with smoked chrome bezel, Daytime Running Lights (DRL), and LED Fog Lights
-Mesh grille with body color surround
-TRD Sport bedside graphic

Like all new model year Toyotas, the TRD Sport Tundra will have Toyota's active safety package standard. It includes a Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection (PCS w/PD), Lane Departure Alert (LDA), Auto High Beams (AHB) and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC).

The new Tundra will have a new grill as well. Look for at your Toyota Dealer this fall.
