The people at Lamborghini have discussed how they have big things in plan to celebrate the company’s 50th birthday this year and their recent offering is a video history lesson featuring a wide range of past models in action but at the very end of the video, there is a shadowy vehicle that we presume is either the replacement for the Gallardo or perhaps the unique supercar that the company plans to introduce for their 50th anniversary.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced a recall of 144 examples of the high performance Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 over an issue surrounding the adjustment of the projection headlight system – a problem that could lead to improper lighting in front of the Aventador for the driver or possibly shining into the eyes of other drivers in oncoming traffic.

When the awesome new 2013 Lamborghini Aventador Roadster was unveiled earlier this week, the Italian supercar builder announced that this new open air supercar would carry a European price of 300,000 Euros but we know now that American buyers will be paying a bit more for the right to drive the Aventador Roadster on US roads.

The Lamborghini Gallardo is expected to laid to rest with the 2014 model year as a new “entry level” Lambo (possibly called the Cabrera) meets the world but that doesn’t mean that the Italian supercar builder is giving up on the current Gallardo – with a lightly refreshed lineup for the 2013 model year on display now at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced a recall of the 2004 through 2006 Lamborghini Gallardo Coupe and Spyder (convertible) models over a concern that one of the power steering lines could leak – increasing the chances of a fire if the problem is left unattended and showing that even the world’s most well built vehicles are not immune to the recall bug.
