The 2020 Toyota Camry has finally added cooled seats for some of its lineup. Find out how to get it and how much it will cost.

Toyota has made a very deliberate effort in the past few years to improve the styling and features on virtually its entire lineup of cars, trucks and SUVs. One of these models with refreshed features is the 2020 Camry.

Of all the features that many consumers perceive as luxury and expect to appear on higher end trim levels of sedans, ventilated/cooled seats are at the top of the list.

2020 Camry now has Cooled Seats

There are 5 different 2020 Toyota Camry trim levels that come with available ventilated and heated seats. You can select from the XLE 4-cylinder, XSE 4-cylinder, XLE V6, XSE V6 and Hybrid XLE.

Ventilated/cooled seats come as part of the 2020 Camry driver assist package. This package includes 10” color head-up display, Bird’s Eye View camera, intelligent clearance sonar with rear cross-traffic braking and the multi-stage ventilated front seats.

Check out how to get cooled Camry seats in my how-to video.

What does it cost to get ventilated seats on 2020 Camry?

The driver assist package has a retail MSRP cost of $2,375 on the XLE and XSE 4-cylinder models, along with the Hybrid XLE. The V6 engine driver assist packages for XLE and XSE cost slightly less at $1,750.

Other updates on 2020 Camry

Perhaps the biggest upgrades coming to the 2020 Toyota Camry are with multimedia applications. Android Auto joins last year’s Apple CarPlay as standard equipment across the board. Also, SiriusXM is standard on all trim levels of 2020 Camry. This is certainly welcome news and it will help establish Toyota as a leader in multimedia technology offerings.

All 2020 Toyota Camry levels LE and above feature 3 standard USB ports as well. In fact, the following trims of the 2020 Camry will get an AWD option.

Time for your thoughts on 2020 Camry

Since the Camry was just redesigned for the 2018 model year, it is not close to time for a new appearance. However, technology and multimedia improvements are constantly needed to satisfy the rapidly-changing technological in-vehicle landscape.

What do you think of this “cool” news about 2020 Camry? Will you be in the market for a new midsize sedan in the near future, and will Camry be on your list?
