Following in the footsteps of the Sonata and Tucson, the 2017 Hyundai Elantra will offer a high-mileage Eco model. We now have the pricing for this fuel efficient model.

The 2017 Hyundai Elantra Eco will come with a base price of $21,485 (includes an $835 destination charge). The Eco gets a new 1.4L turbocharged four-cylinder with 128 horsepower and 156 pound-feet of torque. Paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic, the Eco is rated at 32 City/40 Highway/35 Combined. Compared to the standard Elantra with its 2.0L Atkinson-Cycle four-cylinder that returns 28 City/37 Highway/32 Combined when paired with the six-speed automatic.

In terms of the model lineup, the Elantra Eco slots between the SE ($17,985) and Limited ($23,185).

So what do you get for your $21,485 aside from improved fuel economy? An abundance of standard features. Eco models get keyless entry and start; blind-spot monitoring with cross traffic alert, dual-zone climate control, heated seats, a seven-inch touchscreen Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support; and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob.
