Subaru announced pricing on the new 2022 Crosstrek models, but there are no new features on any trim levels. Here's why the Crosstrek is a carryover from the 2021 models.

It's not a surprise that Subaru of America announced the 2022 Subaru Crosstrek with no new features or upgrades for the model change. According to a Subaru of America spokesman, Subaru Corporation chose to bring the 2022 models unchanged as a carryover.

There are no new upgrades for the 2022 model change. We reached out to Subaru of America, and a company spokesman told us, "The 2022 Crosstrek is a carryover. There are no new features."

Subaru Corporation made significant upgrades last year by bringing the new Crosstrek Sport trim level and the Limited top trim with the new 2.5-liter Boxer engine. It was a good decision, and the Crosstrek is the brand's hottest model in America.

Subaru Crosstrek sales have been sizzling hot, and Subaru doesn't need to make changes now. The 2022 Subaru Crosstrek is in the fifth year of its production life cycle when the Japanese automaker would make few if any changes anyway.

The 2023 Subaru Crosstrek is the model to watch

The 2023 Subaru Crosstrek is the one customers should wait for with adventurous lifestyles. The 2023 Subaru Crosstrek will get a complete remodel and will be the model to watch. We know from sources close to Subaru; the automaker will launch a new Crosstrek Wilderness trim level in 2023. Check out the details here.

Subaru could decide to upgrade the Crosstrek Sports current 2.5-liter naturally aspirated Boxer engine with additional horsepower. But true to form, the Japanese automaker is tight-lipped about releasing any information on the all-new outdoor adventure model.

The all-new next-generation 2023 Subaru Crosstrek will make its global launch first in early 2023, and the Crosstrek Wilderness will arrive in the U.S. in the spring of 2023.

What is the price of the 2022 Subaru Crosstrek?

The 2022 Subaru Crosstrek comes in five trim levels for customers. The base trim is priced from $23,570, Premium ($24,720), Sport ($27,920), Limited ($29,420) and Crosstrek Hybrid ($37,895). Prices include destination and delivery fees that increase +$75 ($1,125).

The 2022 Subaru Crosstrek and Crosstrek Hybrid are carryovers with no new features or upgrades and will begin arriving at Subaru showrooms in the first quarter of 2022.

I am a trucker and I run the parts from plant to plant. Subaru is in the top tier of the parts range. I own a18 outback and I love it. I will never own anything but a Subaru. You just can't go wrong. My 2018 outback limited is still valued at 27000$ to trade .. it holds value. Subaru dealers are committed to their loyalty. And subaru loves animals.
