A report from Automotive News says more Americans are embracing small sport utility vehicles as sedans vanish, and subcompact SUVs have become a key entry point for many automakers. Chevrolet, Kia, Hyundai, and Volkswagen field two separate nameplates in the segment, though priced and equipped widely apart.

The Crosstrek has become a significant entry to the Subaru lineup since its launch in 2012, one reason the Subaru of America enjoys one of the highest loyalty rates in the industry.

The 2023 Subaru Crosstrek commands one of the highest prices for subcompact SUVs. Here are the top ten 2023 model year vehicles in the segment ranked by the average of their January and February sticker prices according to TrueCar data.
